Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me..."
Matthew 19:14
Sunday Morning Live (Children’s Sunday School)
We are excited about the Gospel Project curriculum we use for Sunday school for PreK through age 12. Each lesson begins with a brief animation presentation of a Bible character. After discussion, we break into groups where we read and discuss the Bible story, later reinforced with a reactive activity.
Children’s Church
Children’s Church offers the children of Christ Church the unique opportunity to learn about the Gospel reading in an age appropriate setting during the 10:30 service. Before the readings begin, preschool and elementary age children are invited to follow the bearer of the Little Cross to attend Children’s Church. They have a Bible lesson, make crafts, sing songs, and return (with their Bible reading to take home) during announcements before communion.
Nursery
Children are welcome at both Christ Church Worship services. We also offer well-child care, newborn to four years, in the nursery upstairs in the Parish House. The nursery is staffed by two university students who are certified in the Episcopal Diocese of Texas Safeguarding God’s Children program.
